Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian

         Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian is the last book in the Percy Jackson series. In this series the gods are fighting, well I won't tell you that now so read on. Percy Jackson is driving a car with his "friend" Rachel when Blackjack and Beckendorf (son of Hephaestus so he is really good at tinkering things. Percy climbs on top of Blackjack (his Pegasus) and rides to Kronos' ship. Beckendorf explains that they will destroy Kronos' ship. They try to explode the engine but it seems like they were expecting them. Percy tries to lead the monsters away from Beckendorf. But he gets caught in the middle of the ship were he meets Kronos' himself. Beckendorf gets caught but he tells Percy that the bombs were ready. Beckendorf explodes the ship while Percy escapes to camp. There he listens to the great prophecy:
         
            A half blood of the eldest gods
           Shall reach sixteen against all odds
           And see the world in endless sleep
           The heroes soul cursed blade shall reap
           A single choice shall end his days
           Olympus to preserve or raze

          Against all odds Percy defeats the monster army which tries to destroy Olympus (which is on top of the Empire State building). Then at Olympus he finds Kronos' trying to destroy the gods seats of power. At the end he defeats Kronos (actually Luke fought Kornos' himself and killed him) I really like this book since it is the last book in the series. I also really like the chapter titles (of course). From "My Parents go commando" to "We Trash the Eternal City" to "I go Cruising with Explosives".
